Ben Salomon
Ben Salomon, founder and Executive Director of Mezz Capital Partners, has over 15 years’ experience in the debt and mezzanine capital markets, having overseen over R100billion worth of completed transactions in his career.
Ben previously ran TC Property Mezz Partners, a real estate focused mezzanine fund and advisory business, and a joint-venture between Ben Salomon and Transaction Capital Limited.
Prior to launching TC Property Mezz Partners, Ben was an executive at Standard Bank Structured Debt – Real Estate, where he spent 9 years, and oversaw a lending book of over R30billion. The business provided structured debt finance solutions to the tier 1 real estate market, including listed REITs, large corporates and unlisted funds, and tier 1 developers.
Prior to Standard Bank, Ben spent five years at Investec’s Capital Markets division, focusing on the leveraged finance and specialised growth finance space as well as real estate finance.
